Mel-I love that you do what you have to do to keep the rain from spoiling your day. Love that song. Hope you are doing well
Every day here in Hawaii we have RAINBOWS! So far, I haven't found that shiny pot of gold! Still lookin.
Always... Sharon! And I know you do the same... little chicky!
Lucky dog... Bruce! I'm sure you see the most beautiful rainbows imaginable!
Mel,
You see rainbows because your spirit causes rainbows. You not only light up a room but you light up the sky. Rainbows are God's Smile and he is seriously smiling when he looks at you. You are one of his greatest creations. Never let anything dampen that spirit.
Great attitude Mel, and if we didn't have rain we wouldn't have green. Necessary.
Mel, Thanks for sharing this mellow song with your fans. Stay inside and stay dry, light a fire, kick off those heavy knee high boots, lay on the floor and do some yoga. DON'T do Zumba to this song, it would just be totally wrong. ;-) Warmest wishes always.
UPDATE: How funny! You were busy leaving a comment for ME while I was here leaving a comment for YOU. ;-)
Mel... Enjoy your wonderful rain that you are blessed with. The high desert is in dire need of moisture of any type and any amount. Your lush landscape is worth every drop of rain my friend. This from an ole desert rat with a southern woman that misses her lush colors and green, green grass of home.
That's very sweet... Kevin! I'm glad God is smilin' on me today!!!
And green is just soooo beautiful... Gary. Hope you're having a fabulous day!
Richard ~ I'm still thinkin' about the best coffee place in the OC ;-) Do you like French Press? This song is pretty mellow indeed... I get that way sometimes! But now I'm off to shake a leg to Shakira!
I appreciate every drop... John! I too, wandered in the high desert of Cali for 20+ years and I must say, I'm very happy to be living in the PNW! They'll be plenty of sunshine on my shoulder in summer ;)
Very cool lyrics! Made my night a little better! Thanks!
Ooh, hadn't heard this artist before, and I love her voice! Gonna go check out her album now. Thanks for the tip on a new-to-me artist :)
I'm thrilled you like it Laura... it has a cool vibe ;)))
It's smooth and a little jazzy, MEA! I love music and I couldn't live a day without it. Have always said if I was stranded on a deserted island, and I had only one thing I could have with me, I'd choose music (it doesn't get mad, sad or talk back, and it always puts a smile on my face ;)))
Mel,
What a lovely song, and I love your message...Rain does gives us the contrast to sunshine, and makes it that much more special. A
But my camera is screaming at the sky for the sun to come out so we can enjoy that green together and then share it with the world in the form of pictures.
It is lovely, isn't it Alexandra! I love the rain as long as it produces a rainbow ;)))
I hear ya Todd... I think we're going to be blessed with a weekend of sunshine... yay!
