Have you ever had to email photos or documents files that were just too big to go via email? Or tried Docusend just to find out its only free for 5 photos? Here's a great solution - Google Drive.
You may already be using GoogleDocs but that's just for docs, like Word but cloud hosted and limited.
Mashable tells us Google Drive is a better resource to store our media which like all things Google, provides a sharing option. As it is, I have my kids and husband tethered with Google, and I share Google Docs with clients. But it's limited at this point. This provides solution, cloud hosting for all our media and is free for now, up to 5MB. They also say that it is scheduled to launch next week (April 22-28).
I'm excited about Google Drive as I don't like the 5 doc limit on Docusend, don't like sending batch emails, and like it tethered to my phone.
While I was reading I also discovered why Google changed the Android name over to Google Play. It's a branding reorganization to unite all Google product names. I won't charge you extra for this bonus factoid, lol.
