In Memory Of Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia...Loved By Everyone
My heart has been aching for Barbara since she told me about Ryan last week. Some of you might know that my husband is a Tucson police motor officer and when I told him about this he just hung his head and remained quiet for a while. My husband, my daughter and myself adore Barbara and our hearts are hurting for her today and for the coming days ahead. As she wrote - there are just no words to describe .... thinking of you Barbara....
Today, I’m writing this post with a very heavy heart. Tomorrow, I will be visiting, for the final time, the father of three of my teenage grandchildren. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Tvelia will be waked tomorrow and laid to rest on Wednesday. Ryan was only 42 years old.
On Tuesday, April 10, Ryan was on his way to serve as an honor guard at the funeral of another officer’s mother when he was involved in a motorcycle-vehicle accident. Ryan died at the scene as a result of the injuries he sustained in that accident. Ryan was in uniform on his department Harley Davidson.
My three teenage grandchildren are familiar faces to ActiveRain members. They are always in my family posts. My daughter, Tammy, and my grand-babies are devastated. Words cannot describe how much Ryan was loved; how he will be missed and the void that will be there forever.
