Jeff, WOW.. You have a lot of time on your hands I guess..lol Just kidding.. the worst part is this became a feature.

12/26/2007 06:24 AM by My Favorite Mortgage.net - Matthew J Blum

Hi Jeff - google and clever go hand in hand on this one!  Thanks for putting them all together.  I had picked up on a couple of them, but not the whole picture.

Thanks for the links to their tools.  I had seen someone else do a post not all that long ago with these links in it, and meant to bookmark that one but forgot.  Now I have yours to reference for all these cool things.  Laurie Manny did a post that I had in the Week in Review this past week on Sketchup - really cool tool there!

Happy New Year!
Ann

12/26/2007 06:58 AM by Portsmouth NH Real Estate ~ Ann Cummings (RE/MAX Coast to Coast - Portsmouth New Hampshire)

COURTNEY......  my pleasure. I hope you can get something out of these.

CLARK..... that's exactly right, thinking outside the box. So many of us fail to do this... or, think about it, but not follow through. We are moving into the internet era and you need to be ahead of the average person.

MATTHEW.....  not that much time....lol   but the worst part that this was featured?  You lost me there... lol But there are a few good messages here.

On another note, did you see the snowball post from a few days ago?

ANN..... I agree, that they have become very cleaver. In regards to links to their tools, that might have been me. I did the same links to these tools in this post : Google & Marketing.... It's Halloween   Was this the same one that you were talking about?

And I'll check out Laurie Manny's post....  thanks and Happy New Year to you too.....

Good Morning Mr. Belonger.  Thanks for the post.  I too love Google and try to utilize it as much as I can, but even I didn't know about SketchUp.  I'm anxious to check it out.

That is so cute!  I don't know how I missed seeing this at all through the progression.

12/26/2007 09:14 AM by Bethesda Real Estate Sales ~ Josette Skilling (Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc.)

DIANE.... yes, there is anticipation, at least on my part. Thanks for the comments and for stopping by.

BRETT..... yes, I'll have to check Sketchup out. What them Cards? Just imagine if they had some of their best players for 3 weeks....  would they still be in the top 5?

NEAL.....  save what? You lost me there...  thanks for stopping by.

DAN.....   ha ha ha... if I was, you would see tons of posts. Besides, my brother-in-law keeps telling me that I am taking food away from my nieces and nephews because he works for Microsoft... lol

JOSETTE......  well, maybe you were just busy for the holidays... ;o)  But if you notice, I have been tracking almost every holiday this year, because I am intrigued by all of this.

The Google folks are very creative and also very wealthy! They keep us going back for more..

Google Earth is among my favorites. I just fly to anywhere when I need a break. Nice job on this post and Merry Christmas to you Jeff!

12/26/2007 12:15 PM by Portland Oregon Real Estate Broker * Jennifer Bukaty * (RE/MAX equity group, inc.)

i was wondering why google kept changing their logo.  and now i know.

12/26/2007 12:30 PM by Joshua Talayka (Chase Internatinonal)

SEAN.... thank you and I agree. Now, what can we learn from it though?  Possibly to help our business?

AL..... well, wealthy might be one thing, but that shouldn't keep you or I from being creative on our own. How about learning from them? Get our clients and new consumers to keep coming back for more.  Just food for thought.

JENNIFER.....  have you Googled Haddonfield, NJ for a break?  ;o)   Thanks for the compliment and for the holiday wishes. Same to you...

JOSHUA.....  yes, now you know.  ;o)  Thanks for stopping by.

12/26/2007 04:42 PM by Jennifer Kirby (Exit Realty Eden Prairie)

I am looking forward to reading your other posts as well.  Thanks for the information.

Hi Jeff - that's THE one!  I opened it up, and there it was, BOOKMARKED!  We need a way to organize our bookmarked post - if I'd had that, I would have known it was you that I had bookmarked before.  Cool stuff, and thanks again for putting these types of posts together to share with us.

Here's to a terrific 2008 for all of us!

Beautiful post. Thanks for all the Google information. They need all the publicity they can get! lol

12/26/2007 08:10 PM by Portland Oregon Real Estate >> Wayne B. Pruner, GRI (Oregon First)

JOSH.... my pleasure. I hope it helps some in the near future.

JENNIFER.... yes, I think it was pretty cool and a few lessons to learn from this in regards to marketing and branding.

HEATHER..... I hope the other posts help. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment.

ANN..... lol    I had a feeling that it was. n regards to your suggestion, I think it's a great one. I am going to forward that one on. I always said that they needed to change up the book mark section. Have you noticed, when you bookmark a blog, when it gets a comment on it, it goes to the top of your bookmarks. It's hard to keep track of them then.

In any case, thanks for the compliments and for the feedback. To a great 2008 to you also.  thanks

MARTI.... thank you very much sir... and I hope you had a great Christmas also....

WAYNE....  thanks for the polite words. My pleasure and I hope it helps some.

12/27/2007 09:51 PM by Ryan Hukill - Edmond Realtor® (Hukill Group - Paradigm Realty)

Google has been doing this every year for over 7 years. They also change the logo on other holidays as well and do other series of logo drawings.

12/28/2007 12:51 AM by Julie Sigwart (Ultimate Hawaii Guide)

People can learn a lot just from google's own marketing program!    Not just use their services and such, but also watch, learn, and implement what the best do....it can be as simple as this 5 day logo transformation.  It keeps people coming back and creates word of mouth advertising "hey did you see google's logo?"

12/28/2007 09:29 AM by David Fox, The Real Estate Tech Desk (The Real Estate Tech Desk)

CHRISTINA......  well, good thing that you stopped by then.  Hope you enjoyed them.

TRACY.....  I haven't found too many that would beat Google when it comes to marketing...

ANNE..... thank you and thanks for stopping by. Happy Holidays to you too...

GITA......  my pleasure. I think there are many good links here. Enjoy.

RYAN..... I agree, hence why I keep doing these blogs on Google. I think there is so much to learn from them. Thanks for stopping by.

JULIE...... well, to be honest, I really never paid attention or really used Google until about 1 1/2 years ago. They offer so much and the marketing is fun to watch.  thanks

DAVID.....  I totally agree that so many can not only use their different services, but learn from their different marketing strategies.  We also both agree, that change will keep people coming back, as it did for me.  Thanks for your input.
