Like Me...Please
I read an awesome members only post by Dick Greenberg today about an interesting way to get more likes on our Facebook Pages. The post is funny and although I can't link to it, you may want to go by and check it out.
If you stopped by to read it, you may figure out how to NOT get likes on your FB Page. Now...what I am doing here, may be considered one of those ways; however, I have this annoying little problem with my page that I was hoping my AR friends could help me with....
My Facebook Page currently has 97 whole likes. See...there's the proof!
Now, I have heard for quite a while that we need 100 Likes to get some kind of prize, or something...I admit, I don't really know. I mean, I know...I get to have my own URL, but I don't know WHY I would want my own FB URL. Facebook itself is still kind of lost on me, although I do spend some time there looking at other's status updates and I post my blog posts on that page. However, I very rarely post my own statuses because, well...what am I gonna say? I am not quite sure how interested folks are in my day to day happenings. AND as far as the business page goes, well, again, I post my blog posts there and I of course put my listings and announce any new closings, etc...but other than that, I am rarely there.
But, I know that I need to be. So, in the spirit of Dick's post about how, (NOT) to get more likes on your Facebook page, I thought I would just put it out there and say Like Me Please...well...at least three of you (that's hoping that at least three people read my blogs lol!). This way I can stop staring at that 97 and move beyond and go to the next step of Facebook...whatever that may be.
And, in the spirit of giving, just leave a link to your FB Page and I will go and like it too! If I don't get at least three...I am gonna cry....I really, really am and you don't want that do ya.
UPDATE--I have made it 100, yeah!! I mean, keep goin for sure. But don't forget to leave your FB page link in the comments section and we can all go like each other. Make sure the link opens in a new window by the way! Thanks all!!
