Kayaking On Lake Mission Viejo
I love living in Mission Viejo!! I love sharing this great community with home buyers. Mission Viejo has many attractive features. As the original planned community, all our neighborhoods are situated around local parks, there are wonderful community centers for all ages, highly rated Blue Ribbon Schools and of course....lots of sports parks and clubs. But one of the main advantages of living in Mission Viejo is our Lake.
Lake Mission Viejo is a man made body of water built for the private use of Mission Viejo residents and their guests. The benefits are too many to mention and highlights include:
* Two private beaches with lifeguards and roped off swimming areas
* Summer concerts on the water
* Recreational camps and programs for children
* Own or rent boats, kayaks and paddle boards
* 4th of July Fireworks
The list goes on....and the best part? $222/year, not per month....per YEAR!!!
I love writing about Lake Mission Viejo! I raised my 5 children on it's beaches. We barbecued on weekend evenings. I spent hours watching the kids play with friends after school. It even has large banquet facilities available to rent for big parties...hmmmm, sounds like a good idea.
But today....I had some extra time to take out a kayak and paddle around the lake for an hour. At only $3/hour, it's a nice way to spend the afternoon. I thought rather than TELL you so much about Lake Mission Viejo, I'd show you. Good thing my pedicure held up.
