12 Comments on Tornado Drills Tomorrow in Minnesota
Hi Suzanne. A good thing to think about and act on.
Suzanne, This sounds like the Earthquake drills we have here in California. It's good to know what to do!!
We don't have kids here anymore, but we do have our pets. And, some weeks, the boys get quite a work out going up and down the basement steps!
Suzanne- maybe we should have something similar to this for hurricanes! Perhaps then people would stash the supplies they WILL need in the event of a hurricane.
Suzanne, you can never be too prepared and the time to work it all out isn't after the tornado hits.
Nevercan do these to many times. People just don't remember and by the time they figure it out it can be to late.
The drills should make everyone think. What if you are driving in your car...what are you going to do?
I think the buckets are a great thought. Who thinks of that? Well you did and way to go.
I'm kind of glad you told me about this. I wouldn't have known or remembered and then I'd be confused.
Suzanne - Good thing to do but kind of a scary thought. I wouldn't want to see a tornando go through.
Thanks, Suzanne. I will be at the shop today. So I will be able to tell everyone when the siren goes off that it is just a drill. Whew!
Suzanne -- good reminder --- it's always best to be prepared with the necessary supplies.
so many people don't plan for pets in the event of an emergency. And I'd NEVER leave our pets behind.
