Good morning Amanda. Walter is such a lucky boy to have a friend that is aware of his needs and acts on them. Good information.
Off Leash Dog Parks in Alexandria, Virginia
Hi Amanda -
Great information for dog owners and lovers. I think all of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho NM's dog parks are leash free. I can't imagine going to one where the dogs had to remain on lead. Dixie goes and runs with the big as well as the little dogs. Debbie and I either socialize with the humans, while petting friendly dogs or sit on a bench and just watch our child have a great time romping and being a dog :)
Hi Sheila. Thank you, it's what any good Mom would do ;) Enjoy your day!
John- Sounds like Dixie has some pretty cool parents! They get so happy to be free I can't imagine not giving them that chance.
These are so popular as many families have dogs for family pets. Great local post!
Hi Amanda, We have several dog parks here too. The dogs have such a good time there. This is a great localism post for your area.
Amanda, I am glad you put this out there. There isn't one in the whole county where I live. Amazing.
20, wow an amazing number of parks for our furry family. Like Don we have zero right now.
Joan- Thank you!
Elyse- A good friend lives in Boca and has boxers. I've been to one of your dog parks, I'll have to ask her which. It's a great community feature. You live in a gorgeous area!
Don/Tammy- That's crazy. It makes me thankful we have them here, I just assumed they were pretty common.
Amanda~dog parks ABOUND! I don't think you can have enough of these, so long as everyone abides by the rules. Bringing your own waterdish--wow you go the extra mile...(I would, too, tho).
