Last year I received a call from a couple, Doug and Sally Hurst, who where looking for a Realtor to help them find a home in Greenbrier County. We looked at many houses and actually wrote a contract on one in Asbury, WV, in July 2011. It was a custom built Log Cabin on 12.95 acres, 3BR/2BA with 18x33 pool.
The buyer's house in Fayettville, WV was on the market. The contract was contingent on buyers selling their home ... it was a 6-month contingency. Although there was a lot of interest in the buyers house, but no contract coming in, they asked the sellers to release them from the contract early. The sellers agreed to release the buyers from the contract and return the deposit. So now the search was on again to find that perfect house for Doug and Sally.
The buyers, wrote a contract on February 23, 2012, and they had a contract on their house. The whole transaction went pretty smooth with only a few problems. We closed on March 30th for this 3,400 SF Victorian house located in Lewisburg, WV. My clients, Sally and Doug were so easy to work with and willing to work with me to make this deal happen. I wish all my clients were as easy going as Sally and Doug Hurst.
Below is a letter I received from Doug and Sally Hurst re their real estate experience!

April 2012,
We recently relocated to Lewisburg and feel blessed to love our new home and to be able to whole-heartedly recommend our real estate agent, Rebecca Gaujot. From our very first meeting to our smooth closing day, we are thrilled that we chose Rebecca to help us navigate the Greenbrier County real estate market.
Our family of four represents three generations, and each of us possesses complicated space requirements adding challenges to our move. Rebecca respectfully understood our unique needs and tirelessly worked on our behalf to show us homes that qualified to meet our requirements. She made herself available on days we were able to go “house hunting” and made efficient use of our limited time by scheduling appointments to see inside homes which held the greatest potential. She shared her knowledge and insights of Lewisburg and the surrounding area and helped us to refine our search as we widely explored beautiful Greenbrier County.
Rebecca wisely advised us through the loan pre-qualification process and linked us to professionals who helped with appraisals and inspections that led to our loan approval and successful closing. She acted on our behalf through unexpected complications and smoothly helped resolve a barrier with the listing agent that could have prevented us from closing on our property.
We truly enjoyed our time spent with Rebecca and are proud to consider her a new friend. She was reliable, trustworthy and supportive and we credit her professional dedication to helping us find our new “home sweet home”.
It is a pleasure to unequivocally recommend Rebecca Gaujot to anyone looking for a Greenbrier County real estate agent.
