Dine Out At The Food Trucks in Addison's Vitruvian Park!

Grab a blanket or lawn chair, pack your frisbee or soccer ball, put your wallet in your pocket, bring your appetite and head over to Vitruvian Park in Addison. Every Thursday night this May, Vitruvian Park's bridge is the place to be. There are food trucks selling a variety of delicious meals from 5:00 pm until they sell out.

There was a good size crowd this evening. Several employees of the Town of Addison were dining out and I saw a few Addison real estate agents there, too. Tom Lamberth, the visionary behind the Vitruvian Park concept was there with his wife, Lorri.  And the event is definitely pet-friendly.

The cuisine was varied: from sliders, Vietnamese sandwiches and deserts, to Mexican and New York deli.

Perfect weather and great food - what more could you ask for?

I know that food trucks are now all the rage, but they have not yet made it to my part of San Diego County.

We love the food trucks and there was one years ago called the Pinky Dinky and they had the best hamburgers and fries.

Lorrie, what a great idea for Addison.  I was not aware of this ongoing event.  Food trucks are such fun!
