Some people do not see the value of a real estate professional because most realtors are so good at what they do (I did say most just like in any industry, there are some that give everyone a bad name) that it seems all it takes to sell a house is put an ad in the paper, a sign on the lawn and ta da!!!
Many companies have become very wealthy by selling a do-it your self kit. It's only after a professional's value comes to light. Why do some people try and reinvent the wheel? Because of lack of information.
