The 2008 season for the Cinco Ranch Ladies club is planned, and below is some information about the next two meetings planned for January and February.  We meet at the Golf Cub in Cinco Ranch which is located at the corner of Peek Road and Cinco Ranch Blvd.  The regular meetings start at 7:30 PM with a social beginning at 7:00 PM.  There is a cash bar, and free goodies to snack on.  The meeting are always on the last Tuesday of the month, unless otherwise noted.

For January there will be a guest speaker who is a fertility expert.  The CRLC will also be accepting donations of pet supplies to help care for our animal friends.  Also they will begin to collect personal hygiene items for Krause Center.  The February meeting is titled, "For the Love of Art & Chocolate"!  Which promises to be a treat for all your sensations.  There will be a wine and chocolate tasting during the art show.  Some of Katy's great up and coming artists will be on hand for you to meet in person, along with their art to enjoy.  The committee is planing a chocolate fountain (courtesy of Liz Carter, owner/broker of Liz Cater & Team Realty, a local Realtor since 1976, and also a charter member of the club).  There will be demonstrations of art in progress by the most talented artist in the area.  You will also have the opportunity to purchase works of art for yourself or a gift for someone you love!.  The chocolates will include truffles flown in from DeBrand Chocolatier.  In addition, all Cinco Ranch Ladies Club members will be eligible to participate to win a trip to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort during the February meeting.  Again in February the club will continue the "Giving Back", and accepting pet supplies for the animal shelter, and personal hygiene items that will be donated to the kids at the Krause Center.  So if you have a passion for art, want to learn more about art, and meet some of our local Katy artists, make your calendars for February 26th, at 7:00 PM.

The club is open for all residents of Cinco Ranch, and the dues are only $20 a year.  This includes all the monthly meetings, a monthly newsletter, an annual directory that has great maps of Cinco Ranch included, door prizes.  Also during the year there are many socials that are put on by the board and members.  They host a Christmas holiday luncheon, road rally, casino night party, a Luau party, and much more.  There is also another Denim & Diamonds charity gala evening planed that befits the Alzheimer's Association, which includes a casino-style action, live entertainment, and great food.  This event will be held on March 28th, 2008.  For tickets to this event please contact Patti Pedigo at 281-395-0558.  For information about joining the Cinco Ranch Ladies Club please contact Lori Curtis at 281-395-0883, or Pat McAnear at 281-398-6383.  They also have a web site, www.cincoranchladiesclub.com, or just come to the next meeting and see what you think...you'll be glad you did. Please consider this your personal invitation, and bring a neighbor or friend, however you will be warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home.  A great "girls" night out, and make some new friends, especially if you are new to the area, you can form a great support group, make new friends, have fun and learn about the area too.  Dress code is anything from business to casual.
