So now 2007 is just about over. The reality is that at the time I started this group and am writing this post, there are only 3 days left that we can close a deal and if we do have pending deal scheduled to close, we already know. We have passed that point where we can realistically get a new buyer or listing under contract and close it in the calendar year 2007. This year has certainly been a year for the news media and others to bash our industry and exploit everything negative that they could find from home sales, declining agents, closing brokerages, mortage issues, foreclosures and I could go on add infinitum. However, there are many of us agents, brokers and mortgage lenders who have worked harder, smarter & better this year than ever before. We did not listed to the media, believe what all the naysayers were saying and we woke up every morning, focused out efforts and increased our business with a smile on our faces! So this group is created for a few reasons and the first and most important reason is for those of us out there who have had incredible years to celebrate our own and eachothers success! To everyone who has worked harder than before and had a better year than ever, CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU DESERVE EVERYBIT OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, FEELING OF ACCOMPLISH, CONGRATULATIONS & CELEBRATING THAT YOU RECEIVE!! You are a role model for all in our industry and by building your business this year and reaching new milestones we have all set an example that not only was business done this year, homes did sell all over the country but most importantly, WE CAN SUCCEED REGARDLESS OF MARKET CONDITIONS!! That we offer a service and provide our clients with results that they want and desire!!

I know for me and my business, it was a lot of time on the phones, constantly improving the technologies and service providers that I use and constantly staying in front of buyers and sellers alike and discussing the real estate market whenever it was brought up. It was a year that redefined what I thought of as work and help me to redefine what I was willing to do to help ensure that a client met their real estate goals and was satisfied with the services and reults I helped them to receive!!

2007 My Business Grew!!
I tell ya what ... my accomplishments may be less than those who had the full year to "bring it on" but in the 3 months that I have been with Century 21 Towne & Country Realty (the company I will be with until I choose to retire), my volume is worth bragging about. Note that I went 9 months with ZERO income where I was and when I switched --- I hit the ground running and landed a huge sale in my first 3 days.
My Volume for 2007 in Closed & Solds: $704,400 (From Oct - Today 2007)
My Volume in Pendings: $106,000 (Will close on or before April 10, 2008 due to a relocation stipend only!)
Plus: I have 2 Contracts w/ pending acceptance (I will find out tomorrow) on 2 Repo's for around $25,000 for both properties and they should be pending before the end of the year.
So - for my 3 Months: $835,400
I was hoping to reach a Million lol but I am so NOT complaining & am looking very forward to 2008!
