Why you need a GREAT not GOOD Title Company

Why I love my Title Company

I was fortunate enough today to open and Escrow for a client who is purchasing a new home.  They sold their existing home last week.

My clients were a little nervous about the closing and exchanging of funds.  I suggested she speak to the Escrow Agent in charge of her transaction.  After speaking to Amanda, my client was at ease.

To me an Escrow company must:

-         Make a personal contact with the parties immediately.

-        Share their telephone and email address.

-        Keep in contact with all parties throughout the entire process.

There are many other things I am sure you can add to the list.  For now, I am happy, it is a beautiful sunny day and my clients are happy!

Agree Pamela.  Multiple that by 50% if you're the listing agent on a short sale.  Your title and escrow companies are critical partners in your success.

Pamela:  It's great when all of the working components and parites that go into the home buying/selling process, work together!!!

Couldn't agree with you more.  It's so important that a title company interact with both buyers and sellers and let them know they are in good hands.

Pamela, there is no way in the world that I would not expect for my Title Company to be in full and thorough contact with both Seller and Buyer when the need was there.  Having great communication does wonders for both sides of the transaction... especially if problems occur down the line.

If that happens (problems) then the buyer and seller already "know" the folks at the Title Company when they call about it, rather than feeling like they are being called "out of the blue" by "strangers" from the Title Company.
