AR RainCamp 2012 and many other trainings offer us advice on Social Media. What no one can tell us is which is the right path for each of our real estate practices. In fact, we each are the only ones who can decide which one to use and which one to leave for another time. Yet how do we gain the necessary knowledge to make the decisions?

In my search for the best path through Social Media, perhaps the best tips I have received so far are these:1. Choose one Social Network, learn it and use it properly to your advantage.
..... Theory: Better to do it right than offer a haphazard result.
2. Do your Social Network site YOURSELF - don't farm it out.
..... Theory: You are you and if someone else is writing your part, who is you?
