Out of the woodwork they come...

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty, Eugene & Springfield

Have you noticed in the last year that everyone and their brother has come out as a Real Estate coach.  How great is it that these agents have decided to stop selling and start showing others how to sell.

Bottom line, coaching is a good thing, but if you can't coach yourself to at least try it on your own, then you need to find another career path.

I personally believe that this business is all about you.  By all means reach out and grab on to ideas that work, but be wary of those that you have never heard of that are all of a sudden "nationally famous" coaches.

Remember, those who can't do...teach, and those who can't teach, teach Physical Education. :-)

Well, you are not absolutely correct on this one. Half of them went to work in Walmart and Target, and only the other half is, I guess, coaching.

Covering all bases.

There are those who are good at teaching. Then there are those who are good at learning. Then there are those who are good at doing what they've been taught. I will agree with you in regards to being careful of whom one chooses as a coach. But, to say coach oneself to try it on your own is akin to saying "The current wheel is flawed. You should reinvent it." The sooner we can learn the ropes from those more experienced, or just wiser, the faster we can feed the mouths that depend on us making the proverbial bread.

If you're better at teaching than doing then teach. I once taught a kid to swim when I was too afraid to get off the pool steps. I had fun just watching him after he learned.

Happy New Year!

Hmmmm, I guess you are right there are a great deal of people acting as a coach.

We would be nowhere as a whole if there were no teachers. It's the self proclaimed experts that I believe you are speaking of.

I guess I am the type of person that wants to try it myself, and if I can't succeed, then seek guidance.
