November 2007 brought the sale of 74 Douglas County homes which was up from last month's 68 homes and way up from the 49 September SOLD homes.  Average DOM (days on market) was 117 which is way up from 93 last month.  Homes being SOLD for the next several months, on average, should take at least four months to sell.  When you subtract the usual 30 days until closing, homes are on the market for about 87 days.

Rural Douglas County Kansas Real Estate had 5 homes sell this past month with an average price $348,850.  Average DOM for Rural Douglas County was 192 so it takes about 75 days more to sell a home in Rural Douglas County than in other areas of the county based on this month's stats.

For Rural Douglas County, $495,000 was the highest price and $285,500 was the lowest price which are the same numbers for the whole county.
