I am a new AR member and a new blogger. How do you define a great post?

What kind of traffic is Digg, InmanWiki and StumbleUpon seeing? Which is the best of the 3 to post on?

In order of pagerank:

1. Digg

2. Stumbleupon

3. Inmanwiki (however, keep in mind that this site is industry-focused so it's a different animal from the other two...)

Virginia -

A great post has:

- a actionable content that is controversial or informative (tell your audience what they WANT to know, not what YOU WANT to tell them)

- to the point and doesn't require a long-attention span to read or to understand

- unique content (Originality is key)

- a great tone

I may have missed something, but that is what I look for... it also helps to have a visual or two.

Mia - Thank you - I tend to ramble so I will watch that, and I am working on the visual. I am reading everything in the newbie areas and trying to absorb, hopefully you will see better blogs from me soon!
