Puncheon is the new word of the day.

OK all you inspectors and builders if you don’t know this word and its meaning shame, shame on you.  For all the rest of you stay tuned for the meaning as soon as think of some more stuff to say about the word.  OK I’ve give you enough time cause boys and girls if you haven’t figured it out by now you won’t so the meaning of (pun’chen) is a short, upright wooden post used in a framework.  Wonder how many puncheons they used on my house?  Enjoy the day

Hi James.  Another strange word.  I don't personally bang the nails but I build homes.

James,

All the little puncheons in the world couldn't hold up those brick homes that got taken down by recent tornadoes.

There has to be a better way...

I always thought that was a hole punch.  And that it came in different shapes and sizes.  Apparently there is more than one definition!
