I love the spring time; plants are blooming, things are drying up, and we can start to work on those outside projects. But with the spring weather comes the allergy season. If you suffer from allergies you know what it is like.
My allergies are not to spring pollen, but to something found all year round - people's perfumes! I carry Benadryl with me all the time, just in case I run into someone who gives me an overdose.
It was tough when I was in real estate - and I'm sure more than one buyer wondered why I drove with my window open when the thermometer was reading 20 degrees.
Tom we've been loaded down with pollen this year. I try to rremember to never wear perfume while working with clients for the the reason Marte said...some folks just can't tolerate it well.
When I was a kid, I had allergies to almost everything. After I went into the service, I seem to have kicked off just about every allergy I ever had and today, nothing seems to bother me. If you seem to have pollen allergies, try local honey. I used to be a beekeeper and I was able to help many people rid themselves of the need for weekly allergy shots by just taking a spoon or two of local honey in their coffee or tea. It really does work.

Ah ha! Photographic proof of the causes of the sniffling, sneezing, wheezing that's going on in our household now!
Love the flower, hate the allergies. Not exactly what I planned on finding in my "field of dreams".................but I did.
I'm told that the flue is going around, but the allergies are so bad I don't even know if I'm sick Karen.
:)
Thanks for the "tie-in" Roger, you are so funny.
Great to hear from you today.
Just looking at your shot makes me want to sneeze....
Good day Tom. I like your picture. I don't generally suffer from allergies but if I did, I stay in the house as much as I could.
As an allergy sufferer, I'm ready!
I'm getting watery eyed myself Sally. Tis the season...
I didn't always suffer from allergies Sheila, but one day I started. They are not too bad, there are things we can do to ease it up a bit.
Thanks the spirit Li!

That is a year round problem. Unless you are in a pool, people tend to be scented.
You seem to have found a working solution Marte.

I can see now that the perfume thing can be a problem for so many people. I had know idea it effected so many Anna.

I have heard that this does work, maybe I just didn't believe it until now. :)
Thanks Doug.
