The answer is not complex. Before all things PEOPLE WERE. Before contracts, cars, gadgets, technology, roads and ships PEOPLE were here. Their needs came first and when met successfully, both the buyer of the service and the seller of the service prospered. Their families grew then more business services appeared. Without the PEOPLE dynamic...you have nothing

BEWARE IMITATION

Today, many service providers have figured out how to hype and attract people but rarely do they make good. For example, when you go to buy something, you want service and information. Then, the product itself has to answer to you with a warranty and customer service promise. But wait....let's go deeper

SHOP LOCAL

Trying to get a hold of someone over the phone fails more often than it should. Recordings, wait time, push 1 for English, push 2 to hear again, Calling about your new applaince or electronic gadget and getting India on purpose mind you all doesn't work for me. That is why I shop local and with people I know and trust.

PERSONAL SALES...NOT VOLUME

Whether we are selling or servicing, here is our chance to practice branding, service, word of mouth and repeat business. That would make every customer the center of my attention. As a local personal Realtor, I do not do volume sales. I do select focused business where I can keep promises and deliver first rate results..

Well stated Richie, this business still takes human interaction and an agent that is willing to answer ones phone!

Richie, I remember when growing up we had a man who delivered milk, another who deliver bread and bakery, someone who sold dry goods out of the trunk of their car...........it was personal service.  At times I wish we could go back to those simpler times.

Kathy....simply summed up in your comment..in the end, its person to person...

Roger...I have similar memories of those things..long gone. They still exist in small towns I'll bet. I watched a foreign movie the other night where this guy takes his cow on long walks stopping at different places. People order milk and he sits there and milks the cow..service and quality to your door...

Ernie...personal service may become something you just read about in the future.

Thank you all for stopping by..
