No one can ever achieve success without experiencing failure!
Great life experience for her.
Just save this photo for when she becomes a teenager and makes a decision that Mom thinks is not quite so smart!!
Laura, I would have commented sooner, but I couldn't stop breathing. ;-)
It's always special to see you appear at the top of My SUBSCRIBED to Social Blog Roll. It was also very nice to share a few minutes on the phone with you the other day. I'm thrilled, but not surprised, that you're doing so well as a Home Stager and a Realtor. You're The Man! Wait! You certainly are NOT a Man. But if you were, YOU would definitely be THE MAN. But you're not, but only because you're a woman. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Crap! How do I get out of this?
I knew I should have kept breathing and thinking before I started speaking. I mean writing. Crap again! I give up! Have a nice week and best wishes always.
Laura- I love this and love "breathe before you speak".And I have to admit that sometimes this old mouth pops open and I'm not crazy about what comes out. We could all benefit from taking a breath.
Laura, my youngest Chow Chow has a fascination with spraying water too. I can't water the garden with him out there without him getting wet.
Breathing before you speak - sometimes it means a lot of things. Do I want to hurt this person, can I win if I do, do I want to reveal too much about myself. Sometimes you have to think and weigh the odds of what you really want to accomplish. Good post!
Laura we are all guilty of this and especially I so I really enjoyed your post. This was one of my 2012 resolutions!
Laura, cute photo, so innocent. Believe it or not, but I have had occasions where my mouth opened before my brain caught on, so embarrassing.
Ah, Laura - the art of speaking. I know of a few times I sure wish I could take back things I said - if ONLY. Love the photo.
Laura, my dad always used to say something like: "Be sure your brain is in gear before you open your mouth"....and when that rule was ignored...he usually followed it up with "open mouth...insert foot".
I love the words of wisdom Laura. Too often we don't take the time to think before we speak.
Hi Laura. What a great photo also terrific words to live by. Thanks. I hope all is well.
Featured in the Group Bananatude cause you got the ultimate "Tude." What a wonderful way to start anyday (Monday or otherwise).
Very cute story, thanks for sharing. I like to say its like toothpaste. Once you squeeze it out it can't be put back inside, no matter how hard you try!
Amazing advice and such a sweet picture to go along with it. Love, love, love the overalls!
Awe, you guys ROCK!!!
It was a long day today but I'll be back tomorrow to comment to each of you. Thanks guys, just the encouragement I needed tonight! Big hugs to all of you! :)
Great Idea Ralph! I think she'll appreciate it greatly. Hope you have a great rest of the week! :)
Richard, it is always a pleasure to talk to you on the phone even when I quickly get what I need and run off! Just using you and abusing you! LOL!!! Now, just breathe,.... Life is much better with plenty of oxygen in our lungs so fill the lungs and clear the mind. :)
I have had to do a lot of that breathing lately Joni, and it is helping! Whew, what a world this Real Estate is!!! :)
As tough as it is Kathy, I am learning to do just that! Breathe and think,... breathe and think,... Funny how other folks tend to put their foot in their mouths when you do that! :)
Excellent points John and it's amazing how quickly all those thoughts can go through ones mind! I bet your chow's really do love the water. With all that fluff, it must feel great!
Steve, I wish you the very best in fulfilling that New Year's resolution! It's a tough one, but you can do it. :)
Oh Ed Silva, there is no way I could possibly ever believe that! Hee hee hee, okay maybe just a little bit. Glad you liked the photo my friend. :)D
Yes Julie, me too. But I am getting very good at taking care not to speak before thinking. Most of the time anyhow. Aint that little gal a cutie! :9
Ha ha Nick, it is; "Be sure to engage brain before putting mouth in gear." I know that one well! My mom's favorite phrase was the open mouth insert foot! LOL I hear her voice in my head often! :6
Ah yes Tom, and many a regret and apology because of it. Wishing you well my friend. :)
Thank you Conrad, yes. All is well and I hope all is well for you too. How's the knee?
They do live in the moment my Zinger friend, that they do! And having them around sure helps us do the same. :)
Awe Charita, SAWEEEEET! Thank you. Wishing you a wonderful week!
Cathy, that is one of the best way's I've heard that put yet! You hit it right on the head my friend!!!
