Cinco De Mayo Celebration in RenoOne day of fun just isn't enough!  Instead, the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Reno this year takes place on Saturday AND Sunday (May 5th & 6th, 2012).  Reno definitely likes to take its merriment seriously.  And you don't want to miss out on the largest annual celebration of Latino heritage in Northern Nevada, do you?

From 11am to 7pm on both Saturday and Sunday, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno will be hosting its Cinco de Mayo festivities in its parking area.  Meant to be fun for the whole family, admission is just $5 for adults and free to kids under 12 and over 65 (yes...I said "kids" over 65).  There will be live musical performances by popular Latin musicians and bands, dancing horses, amateur boxing, a playground for the little ones, arts and crafts and plenty of fun games.  Vendor booths will be set up so you can purchase some fantastic Mexican food as well as other great dishes from local Reno restaurants.  Arts, crafts, beautiful jewelry pieces and toys will also be available for sale at these vendor booths.

Put it on your calendar to celebrate Cinco De Mayo in Reno on Saturday, May 5, 2012 and Sunday, May 6, 2012.  The southwest parking area of Reno's Grand Sierra Resort will play host to THE biggest Latino Heritage celebration in northern Nevada.  It promises to be fun for everyone!
