Self Promotion, follow up and systematic marketing are the only way you will ever grow your business beyond where it has gone.I can't tell you how many times I had a coaching session where an agent said to me how disappointed they were that a former client did not contact them to list their property and instead listed with another agent.  My only question was.."Well, when is the last time you contacted them?"  They got it.

Also, it is so important that we toot our own horn so to speak because if we don't who will?  We can argue, satisfied customers...and I agree...but what if wedon't have many of-those (yet), or if those clients did recommend us but we wanted to grow our business even more? Let people know who you are, what you do and why you stand out....there is nothing to lose except anonymity!  
 
Ask yourself, what is it about me that people are sure to remember?  Do you market that presence or do you hide it from the world?
 
2008 is a time of opportunity.  It is a time where you will either create a presence, or perhaps cease to exist.
 
I will hope for the former, it's up to you to turn such hope into a reality
