At the edge of Old Sacramento, sits a California state treasure. It is the California State Railroad Museum, an outstanding attraction for Sacramento visitors and citizens alike.
Annually, the museum has a calendar of events to peak the interest of folks of all ages.
However, for photographers out there, the Railroad Museum provides a great opportunity to capture powerful images of our historic railroad past.
On Friday evening, May 4th from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. amateur photographers can select and attend the fast-paced and information-packed lighting seminar. And on Saturday morning, May 5th from 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., a “bring your own tripod” seminar is scheduled. Amateur photographers can attend one or both of these events, which will be conducted by former Sacramento Bee photographer, and Canon USA consultant, Dave Henry.
