Just Who is Searching for a home Online?
by John Occhi, Hemet REALTOR
I was looking through some of the industry news that I read and came across a fascinating study that was released last month about the demographics of the internet user who is searching for a home online.
I am guessing we have all heard the results that NAR published about the 2005 consumer where nearly 80% of all home searchers begin their search on the internet. My guess, when the 2006 results are published that numbers will be approaching 90% or even higher.
However, what this study did was break down the demographics of those who are actually doing the searching . You can read the whole 4 page study if you like, otherwise here is a real quick view of some of the most interesting aspects of their results.
