Cave area just west of Austin, TX starting at 11am on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. The Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce presents the 5th Annual Spring Fest according to their Press Release:
"The Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Hill Country Galleria, Shops at the Galleria and The Backyard, centrally located in Bee Cave, Texas, to present the 5th Annual SpringFest, a community festival filled with shopping, food, music and fun for the whole family.
SpringFest kicks off at 11AM on Saturday, April 28th. “It is the BIGGEST time in the smallest town with vendor and merchant shopping galore, a KidZone the size of a football field, a boat expo featuring the latest and greatest in watercraft and a BBQ cook-off to determine this year’s Lake Travis Rib King”, says SpringFest Chair, Will Mitchell.
“We look forward to another electrifying event in Bee Cave,” says Laura Mitchell, IOM, President of the Chamber. “This amazing festival is a fun event for all ages filled with great music, a huge KidZone and unique shopping.”
SpringFest anticipates welcoming 10,000-12,000 attendees to this year’s event. The phenomenal line up of performing arts and live music includes PAIYH Dance Studios, TexARTS, The Camille Sanders Band, The Trishas and headliner, Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis. Stroll through 150+ local and regional artisan vendor booths for an experience that is only found in South Lake Travis. Everyone is welcome, and admission is FREE! Bring the kiddos – they will have hours of fun playing in our KidZone (nominal fee) complete with a Kiddie Ferris Wheel, bounce houses, the Screamin’ Demon, Tubs o’Fun, face-painting and more. Visit the Boat Expo with superior watercraft from Sail & Ski Center. Enjoy your favorite food and beverages from Maudie’s Tex-Mex and Tug’s Bar-B- Que throughout the event.
“The expansion over to the Shops at the Galleria is new this year with large rides in the KidZone, live music and food/beverages. Downtown Bee Cave comes alive and the Hill Country Galleria and Shops at the Galleria are extraordinary venues and the perfect hosts for SpringFest,” adds W. Mitchell. “There will be transportation to and from the Shops and Hill Country properties, so no need to worry about parking.
