I have a personal page and a business page on Facebook. I want to keep them separate and really wish they were not linked together but they are.
1. Since posting this, I now have a 3rd question and I've tested this with a couple of other Facebook users and we all are having the same problem.
How do you hide the pages that you like from being shown on your own page? The instructions that I found on FB Help (hide likes) is not correct. I've been participating in another Active Rain Group where you support/like other people's businesses pages. It's been working out very well. Everyone has been so good to reciprocate. The problem though, is all of those pages that I've liked are for public viewing. Normally, I wouldn't mind at all having these pages appear but I do not want to give my competitors an edge by them being able to see this information.
2. Anyway, I've tried to register in the Agent Directory on Facebook but it shows my personal page, not my business page and I cannot see any way to make it only show my business page. Anyone know a solution for this?
3. Also, I just noticed today that when I've switched over to my business page and look at the news feed, none of my posts on my business page appear. I see other posts, mostly from AR members whose pages I've found and liked but wondering why mine do not appear. Guess where they do appear though? My business page posts appear on the news feed when I switch back to my personal page. Again, I am trying to find a way to keep business - business and personal - personal. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated?
BTW:If I may ask rather shamelessly for you to LIKE Blue Ridge Georgia Real Estate - Donna Yates and I'll be sure to reciprocate.
Hope this all makes sense. Thankyou.
