Thanx Michael! What's not to like!?! I get to find great furniture art and accesories, decorate, shop and take photos! And if it's an owner occupied home I get to hang out with some lovely people! Honestly it doesn't seem like 'work' most of the time... you have an awesome evening as well!

Peg- i wish I had a David Wallace here.  My resources for furniture are very limited but I make it up with accessories.

Sharon, Thanx! It's so exciting when this happens! I love being able to tell people when one of 'my' houses sell! hee! :D

Kathy, I had been toying with the whole buying furniture thing (which my husband was horrified about) before I met David. There are a few rental places here for Stagers, but they are quite high priced by the time you add everything up. I have my own accesories too, but I've taken David shopping and have been his buyer since Feb so he has the stuff I want if I don't want to use my accesories, or they are already out. I'll tell him he's a hot commodity, he'll be thrilled! :D

The home looks so beautiful with the staging in place. I've always wondered, can a buyer purchase the furnishings too Peg?

Lets shake things up at your home today!

BU-FU you rock at putting these  places together and making them so "sell-able".  They gotta love you in Edmonton, as much as we do "in the Rain".

Absolutely, Tom! Everything has a price tag (not visible) and if a buyer really likes something, that just means we can go out and find something else for the next house. Some places charge full price for what is in the houses, but I get all my accessories on sale, so I'd be giving a discount... As well as much as we want to think the furniture doesn't get used, people and REA sit on the furniture during open houses, so after a while it does become a bit worn. We had a buyer want a huge piece of art from a house, but didn't want to pay the price...

BU-FU, the funny thing is: we consulted on a 1.3 mil house for the same REA and she says the builder wants to put it on the market for a few weeks before he pays to stage it. The staging was less than $5000. Less than 1% of listed price! I'm just shrugging and saying we'll do it in 3 weeks...

Jim (& Caliche) LOL, thanx! Ain't that the truth! There are so many great Stagers out there, we just need the public and REA's to understand our value!
