What Do I need to do to get pre approved for a mortgage loan?

 

Obtaining a mortgage loan is easier if you go in prepared, have the right expectatons and work as a team with your lender and realtor.  

One thing to remember when shopping for a mortgage is to set your expectations to the fact that you are going to have to produce documents that verify your assets, employment, and credit.  There is no way around it, as the lender needs to make sure that you are credit worthy.

Many people go in thinking that they are going to get loans with no points, amazing rates....maybe you have been watching too much TV, but rates change every day, all loans are based upon your personal situation.  There are different loan situations that your lender can show you based upon your situation.
