Hashtag? Are you familiar?

We all watch TV from time to time and see the #word come across the screen and many wonder what that is, and if you are watching the voice, the celebrities are commenting along side the hashtags online.

The hashtag is the # followed by a word. It is a way of separating of categorizing a conversation across twitter. If you search a word or topic on twitter, it is sorted by the hashtags people use. This is how TV shows are using hashtags on there shows. They use hashtags to get live viewer feedback.

I started asking myself the question, How can I leverage twitter to get feedback from my clients?  Over the next several weeks you will see me sharing #YourTitleGuy has tags for feedback and input on the Business of title insurance.. 

As a test, Please login to your twtter account, and please give and example of what makes a great Title Rep. please use hashtag, #yourtitleguy

It was recently brought to my attention that we can leverage that to do training our self, and Leverage the power of twitter to get instant feedback as to how the training is being received.

This last week I have tested the theory, and it does seem to work, and quite well.

We used a website called TweetChat and my team was able to give feedback, post questions, and insights that the whole team could see.

I found that the use of the tool allowed our call to be more concise, more participation in the call and I could answer more questions in a shorter period of time.

I know that if you leverage this tool, you will find it extremely effective!

Interesting Ryan. I had not thought to use the hashtags in suh a way, but seems like it could be productive.

TweetChat allows for a room to be easily made to organize, and allows the viewers in the room to print a log of comments out at the end if interested. I find it extremely useful...
