Hi Mike, lets see...I just need to take I-5 south to I-10...head east several thousand miles and I should be there in about a week! It should still be in full swing! This sounds like a really fun way to spend a few days and a great community event.

Love the apple blossom festival. Fresh apple butter yum and remember when I was in the HS band we marched in the parade.

Come on over, Cindy W.  We'll leave the light on for you.

Cindy J., it is in the top 5 parades in the US.  At one time it was the second largest.  I too marched in it while in a drum and bugle corp as a teenager.  Lots of fun, but really hot.  8=)

It's always a blast, Anna.  There are lots of celebrities, sports stars and other well known people.  We've had presidents and foreign leaders as well.  You just never know who will show up.

It does cover all the age bases, Will.  It really lasts for about two weeks, but the main event in the weekend of May 4-6.  The following weekend there is a big antique car festival that officially puts the festival to bed.

Thanks, Elyse.  It is always a big time in the valley.

Jill, we've had a lot of great celebrities.  In my lifetime, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, George Hamilton, Hank Aaron, Bruce Jenner and a lot more that I've forgotten.  It is a pretty big deal in VA.

Thank you, Lisa.  It's a blast.
