Tottenville the most Southern tip of Staten Island, New York, rich in history.
Just over 10 years ago the homeowners of above pictured property, crossed the Verrazano bridge to look at a house advertised from a 2" by 4"sketch photo, displayed in a 'rag tag real estate magazine.' I remember taking them out that day to look at properties, & the location of where the sketch would be built. As I remember it..... half the street was built, the other half was a dirt road, in the middle of the block a very l o n g and w i d e 78'X150' wooded lot. The rest of the block was about the same with a few homes sprinkled here and there.
It took a lot of imagination and guts to buy a house from a set of blueprints, but they were determined to live in this small community, zoned for very good schools. They agreed to buy the house on the spot, it was a happy day! About a half year later they moved into the two family Center Hall Colonial and have loved it and improved it. Brand new gourmet kitchen.....

granite floors, country club back yard with a heated in ground pool and a basket ball court, finished basement, brand new bathrooms, nicely landscaped, meticulously kept. It even comes with The People, nah just kidding. Just check out my web site http://www.pepenella.com for a virtual tour.
I was glad they called me back to sell the house. The homeowners found me in a google search.... thats very cool! When I sold the house we didn't have the Internet, only, the real estate magazines you could pick up at the bank or grocery store. Time sure flies when your having fun!
