As you may have noticed the snow stopped last night sometime around 10PM. While most television news broadcasts will say that we only got six inches of snow, we actually (with snow drifts) received a heck of a lot more than that. In many areas, I saw snow drifts as high as 4-5 feet. That being said, the City of Loveland by 9AM this morning had plowed all of our streets (with the exception of Plum Creeks alley). Comparing this to last year..... no comparison. Steve's Landscaping was here this morning and by 10AM had cleared approximately 1/4 of the communities common walkways. As of 1PM, Steve's had cleared approximately 2/3 of the communities common walkways. Again, no comparison to last season's storms and snow removal.

The city should be commended for their quick action and Steve's Landscape should be praised for their work thus far.
