It’s Not too Late to Thank an Administrative Professional or Secretary Today

It’s not too late! You still have time to thank an administrative professional and/or secretary today. I realize many people tend to feel a recognition day is a bit of a fake holiday. However, as a former secretary and administrative professional myself back in college, I can remember feeling grateful that my team members and supervisors acknowledged my contributions.
It doesn’t have to be flowers or cake. Sometimes I sincerely written card or thank you letter means more. A gift card to a restaurant or store the person frequents can be appreciated, too. Or even go to lunch, breakfast or dinner together as a team (and be sure to all pay for the guest of honor's meal).
If you really want to demonstrate appreciation though, send an email tonight and offer to take over the duties of your administrative professional or secretary for that person’s lunch and breaks for tomorrow!
