Valley Center, California is celebrating it's Sesquicentennial (150 years) in 2012. So where is Valley Center? Well it's in the far Northeast corner of California's best county; San Diego.
It's locally famous for being residence toAgnes White after she retired from celebrity in the late 1930's. Who's Agnes White? Well folks, she's aka Betty Crocker, you know the cookbooks, radio shows and ready made-cake mixes, etc.
I don't vist Valley Center much and it's not even an area I serve directly, I leave that to one of my FAB 4 Realtor partners, but it's gone from a sleepy little "country-town" to a growing suburben & agricultural community. If you enjoy oranges, lemons, avacados or llamas, yes llamas, head to Valley Center!
