BLiz: This is the perfect event for pet owners who love the outdoors. My cats wouldn't like it, but dog owners should have lots of fun.
Bliz,
Do they have little doggie lifejackets? This actually sounds like a fantastic day trip.
Rich
Anita, Yes, probably not such a good event for our feline friends....plus how would you get them to walk the trail back? :)
Rich, I'd doubt it, it's probably BYODLJ! Would make for a fun day for sure! And barring a rainy day, the weather then will be beautiful.
BLiz, what a cool event...i've never heard of anything like this one...hope the bow wows & owners enjoy it!
Ginny, It's a great excuse to get folks out on the Little Miami River!
Sounds like fun. Wonder if my cat would enjoy it too? Nah probably not.
Cindy, I think if you took a cat on this you'd be making a blood offering to the river gods.

BLiz are you guys going to this event? Sure sounds like a great one to enjoy!
Now that sounds like a fun time for our four legged friends... and their owners!
John, Bunny hasn't specifically arfed Aye or Nay yet! But it's certainly tempting!
Craig, Agreed, fun for the furballs humans and the dogs :)
Hi Bill & Liz - That sounds like a really fun event. But our Labs only like canoes for jumping out of - they'd wind up swimming the whole thing and having a great time. We have a "swim with your dog day" the last day the city park pool is open for the season, and that is also a blast.
Dick, They do the dog days at the local pools just before closing too, and very popular. I suspect our Chihuahua would be quite content on the inside of the canoe!
What a great way to spend the day with the whole family. I wanted to take my dog with me when we went kayaking in the DE river as well. I saw people brought their pooches on rafts, etc.
Jennifer, Definitely a fun way to enjoy yourself and let the pooch have some fun too!
This looks like a lot of fun.. but our Bulldog can't swim!
Beth & Richard, No idea if our Chihuahua can swim either! No pool in the back yard to test her out.
