If you are reading this, then you are either an agent thinking about getting out or you are an out agent or you are someone who knows an agent on the way out.

All your Time and money and effort. All your learning and paying of dues and showing up to things that your broker said would be good for you.

It is Pay back time!.  That is you should get paid back for your effort. You have friends who know you.  You have former clients, You are tired of the liability and the hidden fees.

Welcome to the world of Friends refer Friends.  Do you know any of the 63000 agents on Active Rain?  Do you know any agents in the market area you live and work in?

Well here is the idea. You can make 30-35 percent referral and not have the hassle and the liability.

But you only refer!!!! no praticing real estate.  If you want to practice then get in the game .

I believe that in this market LAST MAN Standing will win.

Val,  I am not either of the above--but, I do agree that if you're getting out, refer, refer, refer and get some of those lost dues back!  If you're the last man standing, I'll be the last woman--right there with ya'!!

Val - I'm a very active agent - and there are still many times when I'd rather refer a client/property out and earn 25% for a phone call than spend a huge amount of time and/or expense to get 100%.

p.s. Referrals are my Retirement Plan.

Sharon, If you would like more to a retirement plan, how about getting paid a 10 percent override on every deal that an agent you introduction to an office.  Yes pick a younger one, Yes pick a bunch.

It is much like a referral in which your liability is zero and your pay is some

Val Are you thinking about doing this With Exit Desert Ocean. I think it is a great idea. But What happens with the single level residual?

Retiring can be scary - check out www.MyGreenParachute.com. Brokers can use it in thier offices as a way to recpature referral income, and is very helpful with recruiting and retention. It may work for you - check it our when you have a minute.
