Lance, the correct term for what is happening to the earth is "climate change".  Put in those terms, we would all have to agree that climate change is indeed happening.

You are totally right, it is merely Climate Change, as the Earth goes thru various cycles, and currently we are in a cooling trend, as 2007 was the coldest year on record in the last 16-years. The over abundance of thermometers in Urban areas is skewing results, as with that much concrete around the temps in the city are 5 degrees F more automatically. So yes it is Climate Change not global warming, this is why this post is a joke, obviously the Earth is not warming if 2007 was the coldest on record since the first scare monger picked up the Global Warming theory and ran off with it. Amazingly enough there are actually people who will not buy beach front property here in Malibu, because they believe that non-sense, although I speculate that they probably cannot afford it anyway or the insurance, so this is merely an excuse to bow out of the bidding here.
