Had to share this, on a trip to through Oregon earlier this year, my wife and I thought we saw a littering sign with a max fine of $6250. We were both stunned, but happy to see, Oregon does not screw around with litterbugs. I just wonder how they came up with the odd max fine. So the next sign we saw, we had to stop and get proof. Here is is! Why don’t they just make it an even $10K and post in all states?? Just sayin’ Not necessary to mess up this great country with garbage on the freeway. Leave it in the car until you see a trash can. Please?

I guess they do mean business if more states felt this way maybe there would be less littering.
