HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year Everyone
We trust that everyone had a safe, peaceful, and fun filled Christmas, spent with family and friends. This was certainly the case with Kathy and Charlie.
Well, we are back at our work with Keller Williams Check realty and we can't wait to get our hands around 2008. It's exciting and energizing to think that we have a brand new year to embrace and work as we explore what lies ahead.
While some say "ho hum", it's just another day, we say - YIPPEE! Giddy-up and get ‘er done. We guess it's all in how you look at life. To some it is "ho-hum", but to us, it's a precious daily gift.
Life is after all what we make it. And as a wise old photographers once said, "It's what it is", so take it as it come along and enjoy.
We do have resolutions for the New Year. And like most, we made em cause it's fun and then break em cause we are moving too fast, and at our age, we tend to ferget a bit (not a bad thing, sometimes).
Again, you got your "ho-hum" party poopers who shrug their shoulders, and bull their way through with nary a smile =or a twinkle, and say . . . why? We say why not? Life is a hoot, why not be silly and jot down some resolutions. It's all how you look at life we guess. And we guess for some folks, life ain't worth looking at . . . shame.
OK, besides the obvious resolution that we are going to love and care for our families to the best of our ability in 2008, here is a short list in no particular order of importance (cause they're all important).
•1. We are going to laugh more often and then laugh some more, and then laugh again.
•2. We're going to be more "dog like" in the way we treat people
•3. "it is what it is . . . and move on
•4. Prioritize God, family, fun ... work
•5. Eat healthy, but don't be stupid about it
•6. If you are a man, be a gentleman to a lady . . . like in the olden days
•7. Do more drive by singing . . . the world needs it
•8. Work hard, play even harder
•9. Exercise and relaxation, a reasonable combination of both
Well there's a few, and of course, we could have a lot more. Our intention is to have a GREAT 08. After all, it's up to us to make it GREAT.
We hope that you have a GREAT 2008!!!!
