If you like to market yourself, the most important part of marketing you is you.

I would like to suggest two things you can do right now that would improve your ability to sell better. It is called rapport which in its simpliest form means that someone feels comfortable with you on the unconscious level.

So one thing all of us can do is matching.  How does matching work? If you client moves his right hand to his ear- you move your right had up to your shoulder. This is a right hand matching a right hand.

Mirroring is very similar. If you client moves his right hand you mirror and move your left hand.

Now all of this is not mimicry that would or could be insulting and picked up by the client.

The whole purpose to make your client or prospective client feel comfortable and accepting of you.

Try this with someone you know and see how it works and then take the cover off the secret and tell them that you are doing this.
