We are hearing a lot about the lack of housing inventory as well as the market heating up. This got me thinking about how things looked in April of last year. A few clicks later I found my Danville Real Estate Report for April of 2011.The next few posts will cover our current housing inventory versus last year for: Danville, San Ramon, Blackhawk, Alamo and Walnut Creek.

Single Family Homes Active Inventory for Sale:     101...34% Fewer


Townhouses & Condos Active Inventory for Sale:     14...44% Fewer


And there you have it. Inventory is dramatically lower and this is certainly having a big effect on the spring buyers....and for that matter sellers too.
