I have a short sale where the eve of the close of escrow (yep, last night), a leak is discovered in the wall between a bedroom and bathroom.
The seller is broke, the buyer/investor is upset and the timing is BAD!
It's been a 6 month process with a $2,000 commission per side and the buyer's agent is looking at me for a solution.
If the seller was solvent, I'd know what to do, but the seller is broke.....what would you do?
We close escrow today. 4/27/12.
