KA-POW! Superhero Adventure Run
Dress up as your favorite superhero and come pumped up to race in obstacle courses at Freestone Park in Gilbert! People of all ages can live their childhood dream as they compete in races as an awesome superhero. Come dressed to the nines and you might just take home the best costume title! After the races there will be vendors, inflatables and music to end this fun event.
Where: Freestone Park, 1045 E. Juniper Road, Gilbert.
When: 8 a.m. Saturday, April 28
Cost: $15, $20 the day of the race. There are additional charges for the after races festivities as well.

U-Fest Concert
If alternative music is your thing, you can't miss this weekend's U-Fest concert by 98 KUPD. With headlining artists such as Staind, Godsmack and Chevelle, this is surely will not disappoint. Enjoy Arizona's fine weather before we hit the 100's at Quail Run Park in Mesa and enjoy some great music this weekend.

Challenger Space Center Celebrates Astronomy Day
Learn about the infinite universe and space this weekend at the Challenger Space Center. In celebration of Astronomy day, take part in simulated space missions, tons of demos and a tour of the Challenger Space Center. Enjoy this fun event for all ages!

Luke West Valley Recreation Expo
Talk about a good time for the whole family - including your pets, too! The city of El Mirage is hosting an expo this weekend with vendors from all over the valley from gymnastics to the Empty Bowl Pet Pantry organization. Bring your furry pet to compete in dog races or walk the cat walk in the pup fashion show. Boys and girls can show off their baseball skills with a fast pitch and hit and run competition. There will also be a cake walk, car show, potato sack races and a hot dog eating contest! Come with the whole family and all your friends to this free and exciting event!
