Time To Say Goodbye! Not Just Another Liz Spear Team of RE/MAX Elite Listing Sold!
Some homes sell so fast you hardly get to know your clients. This wasn't one of those homes. We've gotten to know Jackie and Jeff well during our efforts to sell their home. If you drive State Route 48 near the Patricia Allyn Park, you've seen our sign for a long time. Maybe you've even wondered are those agents EVER going to sell that home?? But we all knew from the start we were looking for a VERY small sliver of the buyer population.
We were fighting being on a major road, even with the large setback and the green space along the highway, some buyers worried about that. Although that major road provided easy access to both Dayton and Cincinnati commutes, and sitting on the large back deck facing the woods you'd have never noticed the road on the other side of the property.
Other buyers have watched too many Zombie movies, so the historic cemetery next door scared them off. Quietest neighbors you'll ever have, and for history buffs the cemetery is actually quite interesting. BUT, we guess some buyers would rather have a garage band next door & the neighbors' dogs leaving "presents" on the lawn!
Others wanting a ranch home with no steps, and this wasn't it. You had to walk up about a dozen steps to get to the full width covered patio that let you enjoy the seclusion and the view of the pond!
So we kept marketing, and showed the home many times ourselves. We kept filling the flyer box, pushing the home on blog posts, kept refreshing the MLS listing to keep it in front of the buyers, answered many phone and email inquiries from our marketing efforts, and kept providing the best service we could to our sellers while working to find that perfect match for this special home! And they rewarded us with their loyalty, and we're VERY appreciative of that loyalty!
Today that loyalty was rewarded! The keys were handed to a young couple and their young son. A family that loves the home as much as Jackie and Jeff! Tears were shed and you'd have never known this was the first time the two families had met! And the Mrs. left her favorite swing on the front porch and the young mother with these words of advice: "When life is tough, go sit in the swing! Life is good there, and you'll feel better soon!".
Thanks Jackie and Jeff for letting us be a part of your lives! We wish you the best!
