There's a rating or index for EVERYTHING now.  KLOUT is the one that seems to be taking social media by storm.  KLOUT is a measurement of your social media influence based on your Twitter, FaceBook and Google Plus activity.

Today, a new service called Klouchebag.com launched.  If you can forgive the crassness of the name, it is an interesting service that looks at someone's Twitter activity and rates how "polite" you are over Twitter.  Good coverage of Klouchebag on GeekWire this morning.

Here's what I learned:

  • Active Bob Stewart has the highest Klout score, but also the highest Klouchebag score
  • Spencer Rascoff has the highest Klout score of Internet real estate CEO's at 48
  • Most Internet CEO's are penalized by excessive retweeting
  • I couldn't find good Twitter accounts for Glenn Kelman at Redfin and Steve Berkowitz at Move/Realtor

(Follow me on Twitter: @nparekh00 by the way!)

Enjoy!

My score is 63... But I am not fully convinced of Klout.. What I am seeing is the people within Klout are not so influential and it's a bunch of followers trying to measure the influence of leaders... Just my opinion...

Hi Nikesh - I really can't afford the time to play any other points game than the one here at AR, which does, not coincidentally, provide tangible rewards. Fun stuff though.

Hi Everyone,

This is not a recommendation, but more of an amusement.  Don't stress out about ANOTHER service to join.

Amusing I saw this on Twitter the other day and had to look at my Klouche score. It's is in the 60s.  It's says something about facepalm....  I have a lot of automation going on, social apps... much less English abuse than Bob.

This is so true. It's so easy to fake it on the social web which is why pelope are still needed to apply analysis to analytics. You have reassured me over one prolific Bulgarian Twitter user; I had some suspicions it might have been an army of pelope hiding behind a glamorous profile picture, but you have assured me it's one genuine person (and a good friend of yours). So long as I can trust you, I'm reassured!
