Active Rain Gathering in Honolulu – January 28, 2008

We have been talking about this gathering ever since we learned the CRS Sell-a-bration was coming to Hawaii. WooHoo Sally (Celeste Cheeseman) has reserved the location so it is on!

We will be gathering at the Gordon Biersch micro brewery. For those of you who know Sally and I you may see the humor. Neither of us drink, making us good designated drivers.

We chose Gordon Biersch for a couple of reasons.

They are easy to find from Waikiki and the Hilton were the CRS convention is going on.
It has a large enough area to support us and they have similar gatherings regularly there
They have great food and pupus (appetizers in Hawaiian).

Directions from: Hilton Hawaiian Village (Location of the CRS Sell-a-bration):

Turn left out of driveway on Kalia Rd. (0.1Miles)
Turn Left on Ala Moana Blvd. (2.6 Miles)
Turn Left at Ala Moana Dr. (200 ft.)

There is valet and self parking on your right. Gordon Biersch is in the back along the waterfront.

Randy: You forgot Joeann Fossland, Jerry, Pete Castillejos and Lynda Eisenmann. In any event, this will prove wonderful! I gotta got back in emails....I got a few more too...

Okay...I remember after reading them off to you that you said 11....now we have Lynda's friend, I think Rob Lang and a few others...will get back at ya!

Sally- The list should grow fairly fast. I know there are others coming in for the CRS Sell-a-bration.

Randy-This event should be a lot of fun. I sure wish there were more members that were able to make it out to Hawaii for the event. I look forward to having a few glasses of milk with fellow AR members :)

David - There are more coming, we are just posting the ones we already know about. I will keep adding names as we get confirmations.

Maggie - it is a trip that pays for itself. The CRS Sell-a-bration is a great event to kick off 2008.

I flagged this post to feature Randy so they could get it on the dashboard and help us out ....there are just too many posts and we will get passed by without getting a good count.

Better than us trying to keep posting about this same ACTIVERAIN Gathering and not getting help.

Randy - sounds great. I assume there are cabs from the Hilton to this place. I know there are other CRS folks going who are in AR so we each need to spread the word. Should be a great time, as every AR gathering is.

Jeff - There are cabs and there are some of us with vehicles.

Randy - how wonderful that you and Sally have this all arranged. Yes, Tami and I would like a ride, if that's possible - however you and Sally can arrange it. Any luck in drumming up some attendees for our CLHMS class on Jan 24 and 25 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village? Looks like it will be a small class.

I will be there to help represent Hawaii AR! See you guys, thanks for the invitation and organizing!!

Randy, my business partner Rob Luhrs is heading to Hawaii for celebration. I will pass along to him. He gets to do all the boring stuff like running the company while I get to blog. :-)

You can add my husband Bill Bell to the attendee list since he is also coming along. He is also a Realtor but not yet CRS. We will probably take a taxi but Bill could be another designated "Diet Coke" drinker.

What a great idea! I wish I was going, but I have always got so much else that I will miss this great event. Please enjoy and have a "micro brew for the missing few"

That's really great that you guys have organized this event. I would really like to attend, but.....

If anyone wants to come to Maui, I would organize a get together! Is anyone coming over here?

I'm going to check Sally's blog.

Georgina - Hopefully there will be a couple of folks visiting Maui.

Randy - Maybe Mama's Fish House would be a good gathering spot.?

Georgina - It's a shame you can't join us tomorrow in Honolulu. Hopefully you will meet some Active Rainers in Maui.

Randy - you know I would love to attend, but I have an escrow right now that needs a lot of hand holding and I don't want to be off island just now. I hope you guys have a lot of fun and would love to see any visitors who make it to Maui.
