What are you Real Estate Resolutions for Buyers?

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSource Lamareaux Residential Realty

Seven Resolutions when leaving 2007 for your next year of working with buyers.

1) Know your Territory and Area and Neighborhood.  Location location location starts wiith knowing the neighborhood and it relationship to the amenities of a community. Know your clients neighborhood

2) Know your market,Where I live in Apple Valley the home values have fallen more sharply than say in Hesperia. When you are working with a buyer the Good Buys might be in the community where the values have fallen but the home and neighborhoods are still good.

3)Know your Credit. There are some changes in the arena of credit reporting. Does your client know what is happening with their Fair Isaac, Beacon, Emprica score. Do they know how to enhance them quickly?

4) Know your money. Do you clients know what their assets are? How much in the bank? How much debt? How much regular income?

5) Know your Paperwork. When was the last time as a Realtor you went over the documents and read down through them? Are you aware of all the changes that have happened?

6) Know your Financing. Some of the legislation that has been passed on recently is big news other is not. Either way do you have a couple of competent lenders that you can talk to about 1)first time buyers 2) Teachers 3) will give your client between 20 and 25 k in the loan forgivable after the first week. Check with Wachovia, Calhafa

7) Know how much of a home your client can afford. Enough Said.
