Happy, Happy Sixth Birthday!
We celebrated birthday number six for grandchild number three this week.
This was the family celebration. All four grandparents were there, as well as two of the cousins.
“Little Peanut” was there, of course. She is the newly minted model, proudly bearing the time stamp of 2012.
My granddaughter says, “She is six weeks! I am six years!”
And big brother, who is now three.
At the end of the event, I crouched down beside my beloved granddaughter. “There was a time in my life when you weren’t. Then you were! And I am SO GLAD that you are!”
